I recently stayed at Residenza Ca' Malipiero for a romantic getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and upgraded us to a beautiful junior suite with a canal view. The room was spacious and decorated in a stunning Venetian style. The breakfast served in our room was delicious, and the location of the hotel was ideal, surrounded by charming restaurants and a convenient supermarket. I would definitely recommend this fabulous hotel with its comfortable rooms and helpful staff.
I would recommend this hotel.

Everything at this hotel was modern. The reception staff does a fabulous job. The location was great and could not be beaten. We appreciated to have evening drinks at Enoiteca Mascareta, based nearby.

The hotel is situated in a quiet but central area, in a delightful square that offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. With all the main attractions within easy walking distance between Rialto and San Marco, it's the perfect location for exploring Venice. The rooms have a great view, just as shown in the pictures, and are decorated in a very traditional style, adding to the overall charm of the hotel. The breakfast included in the rate was a lovely touch, with homemade sweets that were absolutely delicious.
All was perfect, no improvements needed.

The bathtub was a little bit of an experience, but it really was more of an adventure then anything.

Excellent location, friendly staff, convenient luggage storage, nice nearby restaurants and bars, mid-point for walking routes, historical building.
Nothing.

Location is very good. The decor and the building are interesting and reflect olden times.
We booked their superior room and I think it is a cultural difference on what constitutes as 'superior'. I expected a very good bathroom and bathroom bits and pieces like soap etc for the superior standard. I believe their definition of superior is the size of the room - yes - the room size was very big but the bathroom was extremely basic and very disappointing. The items in the bathroom were very basic. There were no slippers as advertised and bath robes were again very basic. The breakfast was disappointing as a visitor from England as we offer a far better quality of breakfast even in basic accomodation. In this place you are paying for your location and a big sized room, which is unnec for a couple.

The hotel is located centrally, in an old building that used to be glamorous. We had a large apartment room on top floor that was furnished nicely. The staff did their best.
It's a strange hotel with the entrance in the basement, reception many stairs above and no elevator. With the room key you also get the hotel key because there's no one at the entrance. The breakfast room was too small and we had to wait for a long time until we gave up.

Staff friendly, helpful. Amazing breakfast, homemade treats. Historic building, beautiful frescos, Venetian decor. No elevator, consider mobility. Mold allergies, choose different option.

We loved the location of this hotel on a quiet square, yet only a 5 minute walk from all the tourist areas. There were plenty of good restaurants close by, too. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Nothing negative to say - this hotel exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is perfect situated and one gets really value for money. The staff is friendly. Highly recommended.
It can be confusing, when the staff tells you that you have to pay in cash, because they have problem with your credit card company - in our case either Master Card or Visa. It does not sound honest, it is better ti tell people, that they could get a reduction, if they pay in cash.

I found the staff the most friendly and helpful of any hotel I have stayed at in Italy. It is in a fantastic central location , The location on the piazza Santa Maria Formosa is great to discover the city by foot, yet is priced reasonably. Our room was very spacious with a ceiling that had a portion of fresco around it , so it was a beautiful room . We had a shower and a bath (essential for soaking after a long day of walking around the city). The breakfast was great with lots of choice. I would thoroughly recommend it.
